Biography
Several years' good service in Queensland’s state teams spring-boarded Wynnum-Manly fullback Colin Scott into the Australian Test side for the one-off match against NZ in 1983. Australia lost the match, 19-12, and despite 25 appearances for his state during his career Scott did not represent Australia again. By the time the Broncos were admitted to the NSWRL, his top class career was all but over and he left the club after only one season.

Colin Scott was a great player who would be worth a lot of money if he was playing in this day and age. Scottie just seemed to die away in the end.....Shame. I had a odd Drink with Scottie as did my girl friend . He was great company and thats putting mildly and a great player.

Scotty was a pleasure to watch and a pleasure to be around even after his career was finished.
He was the sole reason I played the game as a youngster and taught me alot about the person I wanted to become.
If scotty was still playing I the modern era he would be up there with the Darren lockyers and Cameron smiths.
